WALT Area and Perimeter
I learnt Area and Perimeter I am blogging this because I am really proud of it
What Counts:
- Using our multiplication knowledge to work out area
- Using our addition (and doubles) knowledge to work out perimeter
Add your picture of the rectangle you made. Show the formula for working out its perimeter and area.
Area:10x5=50m2
Perimeter: 5+10+5+10=30m
Go to Maths Dictionary. Lookup area and perimeter. Do the activity. Take a screenshot of each. Add to this doc.
Make three rectangles using Google Drawing. Work out and show the perimeter and area of each rectangle. Make sure you include measurements (e.g. cm, cm squared). Challenge yourself with the numbers you choose.
I'm glad you shared this post, Kiana. You have been doing a lot of learning in maths lately.
